Where Baseball Came From And How It Progressed

By George Tremblay

Today, there are many games played at the professional level in the world. Baseball is one of those games and it involves a bat and a ball played by two opposing teams. The team is comprised of nine players and they all take turns at fielding and batting. The aim of the team that is batting is to score runs by hitting the ball. The pitcher is from the opposing team and throws the ball at the batter.

The game evolved from older bat-and-ball sports, but it is difficult to say precisely how that happened. People played similar games according to illustrations in French manuscripts. Some researchers hold that the sport evolved from an ancient game called rounders, but its development occurred in North America. Rounders was played in Great Britain and Ireland. Research into its origins is still ongoing.

David Block researched a found out that the place where this sport originated was England. It was a regional variant of rounders. Antecedents directly linked to it ate stoolball and tut-ball. These two games are also the games from which cricket evolved from. The sport was first given reference to in 1744 in a British publication.

The sport became popular shortly after reaching the New York metropolitan in 1850s. By 1856, journalists called it the national pastime or game. Sixteen clubs came up in 1857 to form a governing body named the National Association of Base-ball Players. A game in which admission was charged was held in 1858 in New York under the government of the formed body.

The commercial potential of base-ball grew very fast, with the first professional club being formed in 1869. The club was called the Cincinnati Red Stockings and it was undefeated for a long time in both semipro and amateur competitions. There is a history of African American players being prevented from participating in these games at different times. This led to African American leagues coming up, but they also folded fast.

The rules that apply in modern base ball were in place and enforceable in all games by 1893. Some adjustments in the rules were made in 1901. Counting foul balls as strikes was rule introduced during that time. The history of base-ball is filled with many leagues including the National Association of Base-ball Players, the National League, the American League, and African American Leagues.

Many aspects of the American culture revolve around this game. The popularity of the game is improved through adverts placed on radio, clothing such as tshirts, the internet, and TV. There are many companies and shirt creators who are specialized in making base-ball shirts, designs for apparel, and free designs for people who are interested. Hiring the services of the designers is affordable.

The current level of professionalism in base ball is very high. It is a sport through which many people make a good life from. Many professionals work in the sport or do jobs related to it including referees, scorers, researchers, tutors, coaches, and players. In the world today, there are many teams that compete in tournaments at local, national, and international levels.

Lou Gehrig & Medical Information With Stuart Millheiser

By Michael Robert Peterson

Stuart Millheiser, as well as others, can attest to the seriousness of ALS. It's a condition that affects the various nerves in the body, within the brain and spinal cord in particular. However, you may have learned that said condition can go by another name as well: Lou Gehrig's disease. You may wonder why this is. For those who are unfamiliar with this individual, as well as his accomplishments throughout his life, here are a few details to make note of.

Lou Gehrig, at one time, was one of the greatest baseball players in the world. Playing for the New York Yankees several decades ago, he was known for being one of the best hitters on the team. Simply put, with a baseball bat in his hands, he was nothing short of a force to be reckoned with. Even those who aren't exactly Yankees enthusiasts can attest to his superior strength, as a player. During the 1920s, few could touch the accomplishments of Gehrig.

"The Iron Horse," which was Gehrig's nickname of sorts, accomplished many feats during his time as a baseball player. Not only did he wind up becoming a Triple Crown winner, which is done by being proficient in three separate categories, but he was a seven-time All-Star to boot. However, it was around 1938 that there seemed to be recognizable changes to his strength, and not for the better. Such a shift could be observed by anyone, from Stuart Millheiser to the most avid baseball fan.

Considering the fact that Gehrig once went hitless during a single game, it was clear that there was something amiss. It wasn't until he was diagnosed that amyotrophic lateral sclerosis that he had to step away from the game entirely. This instance of ALS, which has the attention of names like Stuart Millheiser, effectively took him out of baseball. Fortunately, Gehrig was recognized for his achievements prior to his death in 1941, having been honored in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum earlier.

ALS, which has also been referred to as Lou Gehrig's disease, has affected so many people. For some, it was proven to be more serious than others, which one of the reasons why research is such an important factor in this field. It's continually carried out, the ultimate goal being to find a solid cure that will be able to help everyone. It's important to know the history of this condition, though, and reflecting on this former baseball talent is one way to do so.

Playing On The Grand Field Of Life

By Evan Sanders

In almost every case, there will always be this hum you may hear from the stands. Though no matter the chatter going on, we must focus on the field of life.

Take competitive sports for example. In this case, baseball in particular.

There's this moment when you're on the mound pitching where the sounds the other team is making, the fans in the stands and the environment around you silences. It's just you and the catchers mitt. Everything slows down and the gap between you and the plate seems to shrink. You get this sort of tunnel vision and when you realize you are in that moment, you are close to unstoppable. Your body is in complete flow with your pitch by pitch mechanics and your motion becomes quite natural.

But there are so many moments when you walk 2 of their players, somebody gets a lucky hit, somebody makes an error, and the game starts to accelerate on you. When that happens, boy can you hear all of the really lovely distractions around you. You can hear the other team yelling, you can hear people in the stands and throwing a strike becomes extremely difficult.

How will we silence the inside and outside feedback in life?

How can we move past the phobia of failing - the dread of success and not having the stuff to handle it - the fear of being misinterpreted for something we are not? How will we be less scared of losing everything we have produced? The hard part is, the bigger the risk you take the bigger the questions become surrounding it. What can we do to go forward?

We must realize that this is a component of the game.

Balls, strikes, home runs, errors, over throws, passed balls, wild pitches, strikeouts, walks, that is all just a part of the game. It's not about having an ideal game each day. You actually can not do that. Pitching is about grooving when you have it and facing adversity when you don't. There are so many times you go out there and two of your pitches aren't working well in any way. What on earth do you do when that happens?! Start to focus on the fact that you presently don't have your changeup and curve, start battering the pitching zone with your best fastball - one which has every last ounce of conviction behind it. Naturally you try to keep throwing the other pitches because you want to find them throughout the game, but you cannot bring yourself into a negative space or else you're not going to ever make it out of the first inning.

The hum of the crowd is always likely to be there and it can even get vicious at times. But it is better to be playing the game than sitting on the bench. It's better to essentially be in a spot facing criticism than to not be playing in the first place.

And here's the closer. If you can get to a mindset where you not only can tune out the negative things that people say, but also use that as fuel...you will propel yourself further than you ever possibly could have imagined. Use something negative and make a positive result with it. Perhaps that's the finest kind of alchemy itself?

So get back to that place that you can focus hard on your mission and your purpose. No matter what, there will always be views about what you are actually doing, but in the final analysis, you really do have to litsen to what's within you.

Case closed.

Texas Tech: A School Rich in History

By Richardo Manning

The national past time has often been criticized in recent years as being too slow to develop, too boring to watch, and too long to complete. When compared to other sports, baseball may be guilt of some of these charges as certainly it is less violent than football and moves at a slower pace than basketball.

But baseball is still baseball, with all of its romantic flare and nostalgia, flashes of leather and cracking wood bats; and so the draw to the diamond ensnares thousands of spectators every year, coming to watch hometown athletes compete in a game of ball.

The style of the jersey makes an enormous effect on the teams' psyche, comparable to a young adult female acquiring a brand new wardrobe. Better clothes can equal better performance.

Baseball hinges on a cowhide-covered, cork-centered, yarn-spun ball that is sewed together with exactly two hundred and sixteen stiches of red thread. It is the baseball itself that provides the foundation to the game.

A team with an easily recognizable logo and a history of success is the University of Miami. Their football team's jersey was rated number seven by Complex Art+Design "The 25 Best College Football Uniforms for 2012."

Over the years, they have produced 5 players that were inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Donny Anderson later played for both Green Bay and St. Louis back in the late 60's and early 70's.

If a person really wants to be amazed while watching a baseball game, they should try fielding some grounders, catching a pop fly, and hitting a baseball before going to the ball park.

These feats of athleticism can only be truly admired once a person understands how difficult the tasks are and how much skill is required to accomplish them.

A sports team with an awe-inspiring, bold, well-designed uniform will solidify a fan's loyalty and support. For Hurricanes fans, a t-shirt modeled after such an exquisite uniform would absolutely affect their backing of the team they love even more.

Entertainment and enjoyment will follow the baseball fan who understands the impressive, but seemingly easy, actions of the athletes on the diamond.

They attack challenges with ferocious zeal. They face opponents with the expectation of victory. Sports teams feed off of this brand of psychology. They do everything in their power to obtain that treasured victory.

Flying Colors helps past, current, and future students get involved with excitement by with Texas Tech apparel. Game day Texas Tech apparel can help you not only get into the spirit of the game, but also let your friends and family know which side of the line you fall on.

This summer, as you go watch your champion level Arizona State Sun Devils compete on the diamond, do not forget to show your support by donning your Arizona State clothing and apparel.

A new start for the Atlanta Braves

By B. Crawford

We are now about ten days away from opening day for the Atlanta Braves. Following the way that the season ended a year ago inside the one game wildcard game, the fans are ready to start a new journey to a what exactly is hopefully a championship season. I really hope that the we can get through opening day without random trash being thrown in the field because of a bad call by umpires.

There are no doubt that the season ended abruptly due in large part to a terrible call of the umpires. However, I was at that game and that call was not the primary reason the Atlanta Braves lost that ballgame. The game was lost by a mixture of not hitting with runners on base and poor defense; you can't put that form of performance available to you and expect to go home with a victory. Ask any fan of the team as well as give you a different opinion.

The expectations for the Atlanta Braves are extremely high this present year and that is understandable. These people were a lot more aggressive this winter than in they have been in recent times and the result is the potential for a rather potent offense. In fact, this will likely to be the probably one particular powerful offense that this team has in well over ten years. With that potential also comes a lot of swings and misses, the Atlanta Braves could potentially approach the all time record set by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2010 with 1,529 strikeouts.

The Atlanta Braves are getting to be athletic, their outfield is regarded as the best inside the entire game plus they are going to hit for power. The main question mark comes with the starting pitchers. When they can get a combined 60-65 wins from their starters they will stand a good chance of winning the division and knowcking from the Washington Nationals. You will find a high probability that it will take upwards of one hundred victories to attain a first place finish.

This division is going to be a dog fight that could very well go down to the final weekend of the season to determine a winner. Everyone concedes that this is pretty much a two team race with they exception of a few folks that think the Phillies are capable of coming out on top. While the Phillies will probably end up with a better record than last year, they appear to be destined for a third place finish. This season is going to be a lot of fun to watch and I can't wait to get the season under way. It is going to be a tough fight and a long season, but the Atlanta Braves are built to be a great team this season so let the games begin.

Why the Atlanta Braves will win the east

By B. Crawford

A lot has been documented about the moves Atlanta Braves have made this winter to enhance the team. Their primary competition, the Washington Nationals, also made some moves and also got better. The east is going to be a strong division with the very clear exception of the Florida Marlins; every other team will at least play competitive ball within the division.

In the end, the division will very likely come down to two teams; the Atlanta Braves and the Washington Nationals. Both teams will most likely push the hundred win mark and the division could eventually be won by the winner of the season series between the two teams. This is where I think the Atlanta Braves have an advantage.

On some level, I think that the Washington Nationals executed better last season than they probably should have. They are an incredibly blessed team but I think that last season was somewhat of a perfect storm of multiple players having seasons better than their average performance. Both teams are good enough that they should be able to coast to a division title in any other division in the National League. That is in no way meant to slight any of the other divisions or teams, it is a account that the east is the toughest division hands down.

The Atlanta Braves and Washington Nationals will play eighteen times this season and could very easily split the season series right down the middle. In recent seasons the Nationals have given the Braves fits, even in seasons when they were not all that great of a team. I think that started to swing over in the Braves favor last season and will continue to favor the Braves this year. I have also have seen an seriousness with the Braves the past couple of years when it comes to defending their home field and this will be the difference this year. I predict will win six out of nine at Turner Field and only four out of nine at Nationals Park. That equates to a two game advantage.

That two game advantage will be the difference in the division. This is why I see the Braves pulling this division out and not having to play that pathetic one game playoff this season. Both teams will more than likely have equal success with the other teams in the division. Looking over the interleague schedule for both teams I give the edge to the Braves, a very slim edge. Every little bit helps in the long run.

After a longer than usual spring training, every team is set to get the season started. The wait is tough for both the fans as well as the players, but the start is only a week away. Next Monday will get here, a lot of people will call in sick to work and head to the ballpark to take in the fun. The Braves will start the season with three games against the Philadelphia Phillies while the Nationals will play three against the Florida Marlins, advantage Nationals.

The Atlanta Braves will play a fast paced model of baseball that has not been seen in a long time. That is going to make for a very remarkable season so let's get to next Monday and let the games begin.

Why the Pirates Will be Successful in the Baseball Standings

By B. Crawford

I was in high school the last time the Pirates had a successful season in the baseball standings; I am currently pushing forty. Two decades ago they were a consistent challenger and were a tremendously talented team. And, of course, they had Jim Leyland as their manager in the dugout chain smoking like a chimney. They had Barry Bonds and Bobby Bonilla in the young part of their respective careers, to mention just a couple. Needless to say the financial aspects of the game caught up with them and all of their talent walked and they went through a rebuilding phase. That cycle was expected to be a short term plan, not twenty plus years, but here we are with no winning seasons in between then and now.

Over the years they have done a great job of drafting skilled players. Unfortunately, it never paid off in the baseball standings. In recent years they have shown bursts of success and winning through the first half of the season only to have it tumble late in the season. Generally this has been due to the starting pitching, really all of the pitching, faltering as season enters the late summer months. The end result has always been a hard slide in the baseball standings.

They truly have the team in place to be more competitive and remain relevant in the baseball standings this season. They also have a great manager in Clint Hurdle; on a side note, the greatest error the Colorado Rockies ever made was to fire him. The Pirates have a very intelligent front office staff that has done a fine job of adapting to what is needed to assemble a winning team. There are few teams with the crude talent that the Pirates have on the roster. Now all they need to do is to turn that into a winning season in the baseball standings. Sounds easy enough.

The Pirates have some of the best fans in baseball and those fans are ready to win. Finishing in the bottom half of the baseball standings year after year has to be getting old; they merit better results. After all, this might be a business that is totally based on results. If you don't win, nothing else matters. This isn't little league where everyone gets a nice shiny ribbon and a cool little plastic trophy; this might be a business where your results in the baseball standings is all that matters in the end.

On paper they are more than able of accomplishing any goal that they set. Without doubt their goal is to win a World Series ring and they are as capable as anyone else to pull that off by the end of the season. It is doubtful that either wildcard spot will come out of the central division so they will have to finish first in the baseball standings in their division. There is no reason anymore; win or go home. The management has done their job, now it's time for the players to manufacture the results that everyone knows that they are capable of.

Major League Baseball to discontinue non-player pensions

By B. Crawford

There has been reports coming out over the last couple of days that Major League Baseball is planning on cutting out the pensions of anyone that is not in uniform. That is a large group of employees that are covered in that statement; probably every employee from the usher all the way up to the president of the team. People seem very swift to jump all over this and bash Bud Selig for this but the reality is that he is following the model set forth by the majority of private sector jobs. Still, that is a big blow to the employees.

I highly doubt that the commissioner would eliminate the pension program without setting up an optional retirement program, more than likely a very comprehensive program. They will not simply bring to an end the pension plan without offering an alternative. Pension plans are expensive to employers so it seems plausible to offer an alternative if you invest your savings back into employee salaries. If the goal is to line the pockets of Major League Baseball and all thirty owners, that would be bad. Very bad! If I were an employee of Major League Baseball I would be a little worried but not yet in panic mode, I expect that they will be offered a fair alternative.

Like I said earlier, pension plans are progressively becoming extinct in the business world. It's probably only a matter of time before the government takes a close look at the pension program they offer to their employees. Twenty years from now it probably won't be the same as it is today and I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing. Just because employers don't offer a pension plan, or change a pension plan to a secondary retirement plan, doesn't mean they are a crappy employer. It simply means there may be a more functional way that benefits both sides, the employee and the employer.

There is little skepticism that Major League Baseball is a cash cow that prints money around the clock for all team owners. Even the smaller markets such as Tampa are profitable; however, the spread in profits between all clubs is substantial. If the current arrangement is not beneficial to those profits then, like any other business, they have the right to make it better for everyone involved. I'm sure that each individual club will have the opportunity to set their own plan within a certain set of instructions, the downside to that is that subsequently some clubs will be much better employers to work for than others. The cream will rise to the top.

In the end, the right verdict will be made. One that is good for the employees and employer. By default this will put more money into the pockets of the owners and the league itself, but that is not truly a bad thing. As long as that money in reinvested back into the labor force then everyone has done the right thing morally. Whether they like it or not, Major League Baseball has an obligation to make certain that every employee is taken care of properly; how they get there should not that big of an obstacle.

How Competitive will the New York Yankees be this Season

By B. Crawford

As we all know, the New York Yankees have made a concerted venture to cut their payroll for the upcoming season and beyond to eliminate the dreaded luxury tax. They have been pulling players off of the waiver wire, signing average free agents and avoiding their previous spending habits from seasons past. This is not truly a bad thing, but definately unusual. As a baseball fan it has definately been strange to see and somewhat tough to digest.

The New York Yankees have a problem. That question is quite simple for the near future when you boil it down; quite simply, they have some dreadful contracts that aren't going away any time soon. To get your payroll under $189 Million dollars should not take such extreme measures and really speaks for itself. The only real cure is time, in the mean time mediocre players will be taking field dressed in pinstripes.

The New York Yankees will compete because, well, that is what they do. They are good at winning, much better than any other organization, but a World Series ring is probably not on the horizon. In fact, they stand a really good chance of winning the division with a little bit of luck and a lot of players having better than average seasons. I have never been a huge follower of the New York Yankees but I can't help but pull for the group that they have assembled for the upcoming season.

Brian Cashman and the rest of the front office for the New York Yankees have done a crafty job of assembling a competitive team in light of the spending restraints that have been put into place. Primarily because that is a new territory for them, usually they have been allowed to spend at will. Like I said, I doubt this team, as crafted today, is going to win the World Series, but they will compete and cause the other teams in the American League East to sweat a little bit.

The New York Yankees are a model franchise that many other clubs have tried to clone. Putting aside the payroll, they win at a level that is to be admired. One instruction that they will learn by default from the payroll constraints is that bigger contracts and spending at will are not the only way to fulfill your goal of winning World Series Championships. They have also proven over the years that an endless supply of cash doesn't hurt either. Either way, best of luck to them in 2013!

PED Use In Baseball Inside The Future

By B. Crawford

This may be the most talked about theme in baseball over the past few seasons. A lot of individuals don't fully grasp that the amount of drugs which are being tested for under the current Collective Bargaining Agreement. Players have a lot of information at their disposal to find out whether or otherwise not what they are putting into their health is acceptable. There should be no excuses for failing a test and claiming that they thought whatever they were taking was okay.

Baseball happens to be very severe in their punishments for a positive test and probably will grow those punishments as time goes on. A fifty game suspension without pay for a first offense must be enough, but when you can come out of that suspension and still make millions then something should definitely be changed. Players are searching during the potential pot of gold inside the form of a huge contract and seem more than prepared to take their chances. Certainly this doesn't apply to all players but there continue to be a percentage that have never seen the risk as a reason to stop. Again, ignorance is not an excuse.

Baseball players are creatures of habit, maybe more than any other sport, and taking this away can affect them mentally as well as physically. It is widely believed that performance enhancing drugs are as much a mental edge as they are a physical advantage. Baseball is a game of focus and attention to detail, anything that helps your focus is an advantage over someone who is simply using the talents they were given at birth.

Players that are spotless and have nothing to hide are growing more and more frustrated with those that decide to cheat. After all, we have to assume they know they are cheating. With each positive test the game is tarnished a little more and that causes the game of baseball to move in the wrong direction. I don't think there is much doubt that the game is cleaner than it was just a few years ago and that can be nothing but positive; however, there is still a long ways to go. The game will never be completely clean, like any segment of the population there will always be some individuals that try to take shortcuts. With that said, when the punishments increase the number of violators will go down.

Unfortunately there is no one solution that will make this go away. The penalties for an optimistic test in baseball will become much more severe within the near future. If baseball makes the first positive test a ban for a full calendar year and the second offense a lifetime ban, you certainly will see a colossal drop in positive tests. Over the top of this, if baseball allowed teams to include a clause that allowed for a contract to be voided following the first test players would definitely think twice before putting a banned substance in their bodies.

There is a long tips to go in this process and fans will need to be patient. I do think that they game ten years within the future will likely to be much cleaner than it is today, in large part because of increased penalties and player awareness. On the top of that, the culture that has been developed in the past going all the way right down to the twelfth grade level will have to change as well; this is certainly going to take time. Baseball still is a great sport and the rich history is worth preserving. I expect every year will likely to be a little cleaner than the previous year until the the wide range of cheaters becomes something close to zero.

Youth Baseball Equipment Provides Many Benefits

By Tamera Keith

In a game played on a field, it is imperative that anyone who plays uses defensive kit to defend them from wounds. This is one of the reasons that many moms and dads immediately support their broods with youth baseball equipment all in hope that it will keep them safeguarded. The stuff they get warrants them to make use of supreme effort in all the sports they do without having to care for what might not go their way.

One of the most common sports that require specialized gear is baseball. With a game that involves so much physical activity, it naturally makes sense that certain protective goods should be purchased, in order to keep your child as safe as possible. While some of these goods are probably not mandatory for the game, many work well for their intended purpose.

An example of the most common kit for youngsters' athletic games is a helmet. A helmet used for batting is a typical piece of defensive gear that must be placed on the cranium when a participant is batting. Due to the chinstrap and ocular safeguard, a helmet protects the eyes and the face of the competitor from probable damage.

Catchers often wear helmets, just like batters, but will also use chest protectors, facemasks, shin guards and a supportive cup to prevent any damage to their bodies. As they are in direct sight of the ball, these elements are vital to keep the catcher protected from the impact of the ball. These players usually employ pieces of equipment such as these both during practice and during games.

For those competitors who round the plates as they play the field, plastic cleats permit them to sprint and skate into the plates without hurting the ligaments in their forelegs. Players are ordinarily encouraged to don supportive cups as well, and some even wear mouth protectors to keep their teeth safe. Even their trousers and shirts may make use of protective cushions in the joints to protect against scrapes.

A decent safety standard in this specific sport relates to the bats that are used to strike the ball. Participants should ratify the procedures of their local authority in an attempt to determine the kind of bat to be utilized, including the rule about how hard it may be swung. This is a likely source of damage to participants, which is why it should be constant in all games to ensure that the least damage occurs.

Some players may wear gloves to protect their hands and fingers, though for youth leagues, most go without. Though the potential damage to these appendages is high, most players find that these elements impede their technique. This is the reason they refuse to wear them.

When bearing in mind the subject of youth baseball equipment, it is significant that parents guarantee that their youngsters are correctly armed to engross themselves in this game. Should they not be using the appropriate equipment, or gear that is not of the right quality, mothers and fathers may notice that they spend a lot of money on injuries as well as broken bones. To assure these youngsters relish their playing, it makes practical sense for parents to dress them in suitable gear.

A Good Look at Little League Dangling Throat Protectors

By Alessandro I. Raab

Little League is notorious for obscure and specific player safety rules. Rules often confuse players, coaches as well as umpires since they're often unique to the league. We can easily spend days arguing the value and necessity of these rules and we'd never come to a resolution that everyone could agree with.

However, it's a well known fact the Little League Baseball releases these rules and that Umpires should be the enforcers of these types of rules. One rule that has stood out a lot lately is actually Little League Rule 1.17 - playing safety rules for the league.

This section identifies a safety rule that requires catchers to have a dangling throat protector. The dangling throat protector is just as it may sound. It's a piece of plastic about 4-6 inches in size that dangles from the catchers mask and is meant to shield the throat of the person.

The concept is that ball that would normally bounce from the ground and hit a player in the throat will glance off this extra layer of defenses. Around various Leagues you'll find players that do not comply with this regulation. They will remove the protector or even often tighten the straps to a point where the throat protector no longer dangles.

For that equipment to be properly attached, the dangling throat protector should be safely attached from one-fourth of an inch to three-fourths of an inch under the bottom frame of the catcher's protective mask. The throat protector, when worn properly, will swing freely from the mask. You don't want the protector to get stuck in a position where it cannot safeguard the gamer and it is made useless.

It IS crucial to understand why the dangling throat protector rule is within place. A regular baseball and also softball catcher injury takes place when a person is struck within the throat by a foul tip or wild pitch.

An injury to the throat can be hugely damaging to anybody, especially young kids. For this reason, Little League Baseball has come down with this particular rigid rule. They tremendously value kid safety and always aim to be a leader in safety.

As an umpire, you need to be prepared to impose this guideline, together with numerous others. Knowing that it is important too to know that others might not know or understand this rule plus your job is always to help them understand.
