Whether you follow a football team, a baseball team or a basketball or hockey team the official sports jerysey's are copy sports wear are so expensive. Sometime ridiculously so for the quality of the clothing. You need to be a market investor or search engine optimization guru to be well placed to afford them. Are the public getting ripped off or are they helping to take a position in the brand and welfare of the sports team?
Above all pro sports is a profitable multi billion dollar industry. If you happen to be proficient at football, hockey or basketball and become a signing you may almost finish up a millionaire overnite, sponsorship deals will be thrown at you from every conceivable manufacturer, you will be given big bonuses and weekly wages, other groups will try to poach you and offer you and your team great buy out bonuses. Not such a terrible life.
But who ends of stumping up for all this? The supporter. The money pumped into sports groups by network, wire and TV deals is giant. But for even the largest teams in their own sports it's still barely enough to pay the super inflated wages that the sports stars command. Even with 50 - 100 000 packed stadiums each week there isn't a lot if any money left in some sports club.
With the swagger and nerve of fiercely competing sports agents this is one damaging and dangerous element that made it from an industrial boom into the depressive bust arena. The banks and traders have all had to pull their horns in, why hasn't the sports world?
There's appearing in all sports only around 5 top teams that will really compete. They are the ones with the money to buy the quality players and to survive insolvency. These same corporations are usually operating out of great loans and investment, so that the question waves can they still afford to live so recklessly and pay such obscene wages and amount fro players for the forseeable future? And will their dependable fans stand by them paying out enormous amounts each week for stadium tickets and copy jersey's?
