As a player, you've got to have a baseball hitting strategy before you even step up to the plate. Not everything can be controlled, and every at bat is different. But, to hit the best you can every time, you must know several tips. These baseball hitting tips will prepare you for any possible situation.

Those who are the best hitters are those who work the hardest. You can't just hope for greatness to happen, you have to make it happen. Practice often and work hard and you will be more prepared for hitting.

Todd Helton, for example, plays for the Colorado Rockies and has had incredible stats, including a .324 hitting average, 300+ home runs and 1,200+ RBIs. When I was in high school, I played against Helton several times. It was obvious to all of us that he worked hard every day to be great. He was determined and it paid off in the end.

In addition to hard work, you must stay focused and disciplined. When you're at practice and during a game, you have to maintain focused on the pitcher, the ball and your mission. Mental and physical discipline is also important to improve your hitting and stats.

Other tips for baseball hitting success include the following: getting 20 good hits at each live batting practice and practicing two or more hitting drills on a regular basis. You also have to take care of your body by exercising often and eating healthy foods. If your body's not in shape, it will show on the field. Lastly, watch professionals hit and learn from them.

Be mindful of these tips and put them to practice. In time, you will begin to notice major improvements in your hitting. In your mission to become great, don't forget to ask others for help. No one can succeed without the help of others. With determination and hard work, there's no doubt that you will accomplish your baseball hitting goals.
